Book donations are needed …
The generosity of our members who provide monetary support and those who regularly frequent our library and bookstore can’t be underestimated, nor can we thank you enough. Recently, however, we’ve found ourselves in need of book donations. Typically, regular donations flow into the Friends of Pack Library, and we happily accept them from those who may be moving or downsizing and consequently need a good home for their often prized books.
This can be temporary, as we take possession of those books and provide them with a place in our bookstore before they head out to a private home and someone who will read them and possibly cherish them before passing them on once again. So, this short tribute to all of those who have donated their beloved books to us means that our bookstore is stocked with these wonderful private donations. These books provide the funding that supports programming for Pack Memorial Library and consequently the entire community.
If you have books within your private collection that you’d like to donate, please contact us at FriendsOfPackLibrary@gmail.com and we would be happy to arrange a pickup—for a donation of more than a box or two—and we’ll even come out and box them up for you. For a smaller donation, we’ll schedule a time to meet you at the library to take possession of your much-valued book donation.
