Friends of Pack Library volunteers spent innumerable hours and provide valuable support that truly makes a difference to our community. Our volunteers work “behind-the-scenes” during book sales and in our bookstore, Bookends. They frequently make themselves available for donation pick-ups and at other times.

General Information: Volunteers may perform one or more tasks, including straightening and restocking Bookends, assisting at sales, sorting books by genre, packing and moving books. Some tasks require prior experience. Our work involves extensive walking and standing. Carts and book trolleys can be unwieldy, and containers and boxes of books are heavy; volunteers should be able to lift and carry 25 lbs of weight.
