Buncombe County Libraries Expand Hours

On June 15, all Buncombe County libraries opened their doors to the public based on Governor Cooper’s Executive Order 215.

All branch libraries, including the main Pack Memorial Library, are now open for browsing, checking out materials, and computer use during their regular hours. The meeting rooms are now available for public use and programs will be phased in over the next several weeks.

The governor’s executive order was issued on May 14 in Buncombe County. This order lifted social distancing requirements, capacity limits, and mask mandates in most settings. Unvaccinated individuals are recommended to continue wearing face coverings.

HOURS: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10a – 8p, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10a – 6p, and Saturdays from 10a – 5p. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
